It was during Covid I called the team at Vape-City, who kindly arranged for me to meet up with Chris at the Shettleston Branch. The service I received was impeccable, and this has been a continued theme from both Chris and Coin since, who are both are excellent, giving sound advice to novice and expert alike. I’d looked at purchasing a mod kit before at a competitor and as a novice I just felt they were more interested in getting me to take up one of the more complicated devices. My first purchase was the Smok IPX 80, quickly followed by another of the same device as a backup some weeks later. They are brilliant vapes for anyone thinking of giving it a go. Last week, having lost one I paid a visit to the branch having already decided to go for something different and probably more complicated to be honest. Colin spent at least 20 minutes going over the pros and cons of the different mod kits on offer and I eventually opted for the Aegis Legend 2 which I had done a little research on prior. Colin was bang on with his knowledge, setting it all up before I left the shop. I was delighted with the purchase, however later that day I had issues charging the device. Checking the Geek Vape website I came across a thread where a very small minority of the devices have issues with the USB- C port due to the waterproofing process. Calling Colin, he asked me to pop in whereupon he quickly replaced the device also suggesting I opt for the external battery charger, which I did along with two extra batteries and a bigger glass bubble to increase the capacity. I would recommend to others to take them up on the charger it much safer too. I cannot comment on other branches but if you are thinking about vaping, seriously give this branch a go even if you have a travel like myself, Chris and Colin are brilliant, a definite 5 star service.
